Brad Collier, currently is the Plant Director for the Beaumont New Ammonia Facility in Nederland, Texas. In this role, Brad will be responsible for leading the full operation of the Ammonia manufacturing facility and will oversee all operations of the plant. He will also ensure the plant meets all strategic goals and objectives of the organization, as well as the quality, safety, and environmental standards. Brad will manage the budget, resources, and staff of the plant (Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Technology, HSE, TAR, and Capital Projects), and coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Lastly, he will be coordinating the M&O transition to Woodside once we reach production of the unit.

Brad comes to us with over 25 years’ experience in Operations and Manufacturing, as well as a background in Engineering. He previously worked as the Production Director for Dow Chemical Company where he was responsible for production leadership and overall direction for the safe, reliable, and profitable operations of the PGA/PGE production facilities, as well as the BO, Telone, and DPO Olin operated assets. He also served as Dow’s Versene Chelants Production Leader and Maintenance Productivity and Group Leader in past years. Brad has also worked for Petrologistics and LyondellBasell prior to joining OCI.

Since March of 2020, he has led the resurgence of the PGA/PGE/ BO/ DPO/Telone assets directing the safe, reliable, and profitable operations of all seven (7) of these facilities. Under his leadership his Team have achieved 12 yrs. Triple Zero (October 23'), introduced 5 New Product Introductions resulting in an increased EBIT of ~ $5MM starting in 2021 and debottlenecked the Poly assets resulting in an overall increase year over year for the facility of ~$20MM/yr.

Prior to his Production Director at Texas Operations PGA/PGE, Brad held the Production leader role at the Versene Chelants production facility for the Dow Industrial Solutions organization. VERSENE™ profitability improved to more than 20% EBIT. Seeing improvements in ALL key categories: volume growth (+12%) variable margin increase (+38%) and fixed cost reduction (+17%). No value center in our DIS improved more than VERSENE™ in 2019.

Joining Dow in 2014, Brad has held a variety of manufacturing and engineering roles, including Maintenance Leadership roles within the Polyurethanes, Isocyanates, Hydrocarbons, and Dow Agroscience businesses in the Freeport and Oyster Creek sites. While under Brad’s Leadership, his Plant A Maintenance Team achieved significant wrench time improvement moving from a productivity factor of 27% to a productivity factor of 40%, while setting a new 4-year OSHA free safety milestone.

During the 2017 Hurricane Harvey events, Brad helped co-lead the recovery efforts leading multi-discipline teams each day to help Dow employees after Hurricane Harvey disaster. The Hurricane Harvey teams were able to help over 50(+) TXO Dow families within a three (3) week period.

Brad is a graduate of Auburn University with BS in Mechanical Engineering. Brad lives in Mont Belvieu, Texas with his wife Jenny, two sons Aaron and Parker, and daughter McKenna. He and his wife enjoy spending time with family, traveling to the boys sporting events, and participating in Crossfit activities.
