PROGRAM REVIEW
June 28, 2023
Joanne Brown Swan Song & Awards
By Sharon Almquist
The Rotary Club of Beaumont celebrated the successful and beautiful 2022-23 year in review at its weekly meeting on 28 June. Outgoing president Joanne Brown acknowledged the achievements of fellow Rotarians for their contributions to the Club's successes. As a tribute to our outgoing president, the Rotary Players performed a three-act skit dedicated to President Joanne’s beautiful year as Rotary President. Featuring thought bubbles, both held behind the performers on the dais, and reflected on the large screens, Rotarians were made privy to Joanne’s supposed thoughts in a variety of challenging circumstances. Reiterating the word “beautiful,” the skit captured the essence of our beautiful president and her many impressive accomplishments. The Club clapped one more time for their wonderful 2022-23 president, Joanne Brown.
