It's time to start building our Group Study Exchange (GSE) Team for 2013-14. (Not sure what GSE is? See the GSE Brochure.)

Next spring, we will exchange with District 4540 (Brazil, northern part of Sao Paulo state and southern part of Minas Gerais state, with 4 cities over 200,000 pop.). Our team will travel there from May 21 through June 10, 2014. The Brazilian team will be here March 31 - April 28.

We must start now by selecting one of our Rotarians to be the Team Leader, then continue with selection of Team Members.

Team Leader is a big job, but a wonderful, life-changing experience that can't be described in a few lines. An application is available through the column at the left. Candidates should read and think about it carefully. Feel free to call for more information. (Don't be put off by the language requirement. "Proficiency" in Portuguese is not a realistic goal in the few months of preparation time. We get by without language fluency all the time, although we prepare as best we can.) Applications for Team Leader are being accepted through September 8. Applicants will be interviewed on Sunday afternoon, September 15, on the campus of Lone Star College, south of Conroe.
