Meeting Notes October 17, 2012

Guests today were Nancy Cole, and Catherine McEnroe from the Rotary Club of Utica, NY.  She is a friend of Charlie and Nancy.

Updates and Announcements:

• A couple members of the Club have been in contact with Tom Currigan who was a charter member & we hope he will be able to attend a meeting with us soon. 
• The Project C.U. R. E. luncheon was attende by 8 members  of our Club  and a donation from our Club was given as well as individuals' donations.  If you have the opportunity to visit the warehouse for the Project, please do so.  We also can continue to fill the red bags with supplies for the Project.
• Rich Kinney has set the date for Urban Peak project - November 16th at the "SPOT" .  We will serve breakfast to approximately 30 - 60  people from 7:30 - 10:00 AM. 
• Charlie suggested we think of a fund raiser and would like someone to volunteer to Chair an event. 
• Please register early for the District conference in April in Vail..  The next conference will be in downtown Denver and our Club will plan to have a booth.
• Our speaker today was Susan Martin  who spoke about the Lakewood Cultural Center and all the wonderful programs they offer. 
• Charter Night is October 27th and our Hostess will be Traci.  Please RSVP ASAP.
