RPCV club member Peter Munson presents on his fundraising walk across America earlier this year.
The Rev. Peter Munson, former rector of St. Ambrose Episcopal Church in Boulder and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Dominica, West Indies, 1982-1985), will speak on “Blessings, Challenges, and New Learning From My 6 Million Steps for Kids Walk” on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 7 pm in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church parish hall (2201 Dexter St., Denver). Munson recently finished a 3,377-mile, 8-1/2 month walk across the United States, from Charleston, South Carolina to San Francisco, California. He has been raising money for four different organizations that serve children and youth - two affiliated with the Episcopal Church, the REMAR Children’s Home and Olive School in La Libertad, El Salvador, and Street Fraternity in Denver. There will be photos, stories, and plenty of time for questions and answers.
