CYCLE MOVEMENT

Cycle Movement is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that opens the world of cycling to our community of athletes with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.  Each summer we bring a unique adaptive cycling event to the Denver metro area called iCan Bike.

Kent Husa is the founder of Cycle Movement.  He is also the lead bike technician of the international non-profit organization, called iCan Shine, who offers the iCan Bike program all across the U.S. and Canada.

Kent is an “almost native”, having lived in Colorado since 1978.  He went to Cherry Creek high school and the University of Colorado.  In 2016, Kent retired from the corporate world after a career as an aerospace engineer and software developer.  He has been involved with iCan Bike since 2009 and been on the iCan Shine staff since 2016.  Not wanting to see this program leave Colorado, he founded Cycle Movement in 2018.  He lives in Centennial with his wife of 30 years, who is also an aerospace engineer, and has two adult children, both engineers and thankfully they live close by.
