NOURISH - ENRICHING THE LIVES OF OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED

Diane has been Executive Director of Nourish Meals on Wheels since February 2013. She has a long history of service and involvement with the organization, including Director of Operations for two years prior to her current position and board member from 2004 – 2010. During her six-year term as a board member, she served as board president and volunteered as a driver and event coordinator. Diane has a BBA and previously served as a Project Manager for Citibank Diners Club.

The mission of Nourish Meals on Wheels is to enrich the lives of seniors and homebound adults in South-Metro Denver by providing nutritious meals and services that promote dignity, well-being and independence.

For all of Nourish Meals on Wheels’ 50+ years of serving the community, we have had a subsidized facility in which to operate. With little overhead, the capacity to dedicate resources almost exclusively to programming, is testimony to our inspiring growth and successful outreach.

Now, we are embracing a new challenge and relocation. But this time, we have made our move to a new, permanent home.

Thanks to a generous sponsor, we have been able to renovate and move into the former Las Delicias on South Broadway and Arapahoe Road in Littleton. But now, we need to purchase it. Transforming this former restaurant into a community center for nourishing our senior neighbors, will be the most dynamic campaign in the history of our organization.

But there’s one thing we all have in common, and that is that everyone has the potential of becoming a senior.

It’s a common thread in all our lives and it brings us together because we see ourselves in the need. It’s also why we’ve had so many individuals, organizations like Rotary, churches and businesses come alongside us in serving older adults.

Join with us as Nourish Meals on Wheels and Rotary Club of Littleton come together in our common cause — enriching the lives of our senior neighbors in need.
