CITY OF LITTLETON - AGING WELL RESOURCE CENTER

Claire Mattoon is the Programming and Outreach Librarian and Aging Well Resource Center Program Coordinator for the Bemis Public Library in Littleton.  Born and raised on the North Front Range of Colorado, she has always had a passion for books, reading, and libraries.  A Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Denver has allowed her to earn money for the time she would be spending at the public library anyway.  She has been at Bemis Public Library for four years, working with teenagers, adults, and seniors, focusing on providing programs and events to engage and inform the community.  Her passion for sharing knowledge and resources can't be contained in just four walls, so it's a good thing that her job now calls for her to go out into the community, and bring the library to the people!
