Our Club, with its long history of helping needy homeowners through the Hands Across Littleton event in the past, has partnered with Nourish Meals on Wheels to help out with Spring clean up! Their clients are older and often disabled people who really need this service. There are at least 2-3 yards to clean up. I'm hoping we get at least 10 volunteers to help, so, please sign up!
June 4th,2022 ( Saturday )
8:30am – 8:45am Meet at Nourish Meals on Wheels located at: 92 E Arapahoe Road, Littleton, Co
for coffee/donuts and safety talk ..
8:50am Volunteers carpool to homeowners’ locations to work
9:00am – 12:00pm Working on 2-3 possible homeowner sites,depending on number of volunteers
Volunteers will need to bring:
- work gloves
- rakes
- large plastic garbage bags
*Age Restriction for Minors
TLC MoW has a minimum age limit of 16 for all Volunteers. Youths ages 16 and 17 must have an adult chaperone age 21 or older as well as have a parent or legal guardian’s authorization to participate in the form of signature of a waiver. Adult supervision for all youth groups and individuals working with TLC must maintain a ratio of one (1) adult for every six (6) youths.
