We need 6 parade walkers for the 94th Western Welcome Week Parade on Saturday 8/20.
We have a birthday cake float and a walker(s) entry. The walkers will follow the float, which is hand crafted by our very own club members. We will be walking with our Littleton Rotary Foundation grant recipients. You may be required to carry a sign and to wear a festive birthday cake hat, as we'll be celebrating our club's 100th year old birthday. Yeehaw!
Please meet up with us no later than 9:30AM. The parade staging area is at S Gallup Street, see attached map. Please know you must be able to walk a mile to complete the parade. The float truck will have water bottles for us to drink if needed. AND, please wear your bright yellow Rotarian at Work t-shirt. We will provide if you don't have.
WWW suggestions for parking:
Leave your car at ACC and take the convenient LPS Shuttle to the Staging Area Shuttle starts at ACC @ 8am; Last run leaves ACC @ 9:45am
This is our time to brag about our great club and let the Littleton community we're a century old.
