This week will be our quarterly service day! We will meet at the church as usual for a cookout and then help with some outdoor projects there. Come prepared in clothes you can garden in, and bring your own gloves and garden implements if possible.
As we get closer to the new Rotary year, the board is looking for members who will serve as committee chairs. We are currently looking for:
Program chair
Membership chair or co-chair
International projects chair or co-chair
Club service chair
Marketing chair
Fundraising co-chair
Interact chair or co-chair
If you are interested in any of those positions, please talk with Ariel or Melissa!
The board is recommending a new membership type for the club, providing a "service membership" for members who are not able to attend meetings but do want to be involved in service projects.
Adding this membership type requires an amendment of our bylaws. You can find a draft of the revised bylaws below, along with the current club bylaws. All changes are in Article 11, Membership. We will vote on approving these bylaw changes at our club assembly on May 14.
