Announcements:  Next week plan to meet at St. Lukes once again.  Work is coming to a close at First Christian but not quite done yet.

Rotarian of the day Ronnie introduced his program Tracy Goyne with Canadian Valley Technology Center.  Due to the fact the Ronnie works at CVTech he paid a fine but instead of the usual $1 he increased to $20.  Tracy came talk about the Mentor Match Program.  Their goal is to provide industry and business with skilled employees.  There was a "Girl Tech" to help females obtain job skills.  So they looked into that but grew it to Mentor Match.  "Industry engagement in CTE grams not only prepares students with the skills they needed for career."  The call for Mentors was met so well that they had two mentors for every student in the program.  He then showed a video about the program.
After the video he shared the success of the system.  The system works.  The customer of Carrier Tech are the employers. The product they have are the students.  Next year they are going to be looking or more mentors.  They have student in all fields.  Contact Gay Pettit the Career Development Counselor at gpettit@cvtech.edu for more information on being a mentor.
Thank you Ronnie for a wonderful program.
