5-3 meeting of the Rotary Club of Chickasha.

The May 3, 2012 meeting of the Rotary Club of Chickasha opened with a prayer, pledge and songs.

Guests included President Michael's father Fred Oberlender. There were no visiting Rotarians

President Michael made the following announcements: 

–– There are three Fridays left for the Freshman Program. Contact Bill McVey for details.

–– The Rotary Run is coming up quickly and more volunteers are needed for the May 19 event. Contact Cody at 405-219-0176 to volunteer or to get more information.

Rotarian of the day was Mayor Hank Ross who was unable to attend. The Grand Avenue Choir presented several patriotic songs. There were 52 children in attendance lead by Becky Gordon, wife of Rotarian Phil Gordon.

Next Week's program will be Dr. Wood who will talk about Holistic Veterinarian Medicine. Food will be prepared by Dunn's Food Center. 

The meeting was adjourned after recitation of the Rotary Four-Way Test.
