The September 20, 2018 meeting was called to order by Pres. John Gorton.  The prayer was led by Rot. Tom Avant and the pledged by Rot. Steve LaForge.  The song, 'God Bless America' was NOT led by Rot. Rocky Roberson but by Rot. Jay Epperson.  The Rotarian of the Day was Lt. David Brittle, who introduced Major Stacie McWilliams with The Salvation Army. Catering provided by Jimmy's Egg.

Major Stacie McWilliams was born and raised in Forest, MS. She met her husband Major Thomas McWilliams while in college at the University of Southern Mississippi. They have been married 26 years and has one daughter, Brittany 23, pursing her masters at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
 
After being commissioned in 1994 as an officer in The Salvation Army she served at Mt. Airy N.C., Sumter, SC., Spartanburg, SC., at divisional headquarters in Jackson, MS, then as Area Commander of Palm Beach County, Florida and Jacksonville, Florida. She loves to play tennis and travels in her spare time. She now serves as General Secretary and Divisional Secretary for Women’s Ministries of the Arkansas/Oklahoma Division. And she loves to work with the other women officers in this division.
