It's Time to Fly, Chickasha!
The August 16, 2018 meeting was called to order by Vice President Gerron Smith.  The prayer was led by Rot. Michael Oberlender and the pledge by Rot. Rocky Roberson.  The Rotarian of the Day was Mitch Williams who introduced Kimberly Loggins, the Vice Mayor of Chickasha.  Rot. Mitch Williams led the club in a song he wrote titled 'Gonna Fly'.  Catering was provided by Cotton Patch.

Kimberly "Kimmy" Loggins has been employed at HSI Sensing in Chickasha, OK for 31 years and currently serves as Quality Manager.  HSI Sensing is an innovative leader in the engineering, design and precision manufacturing of custom reed switches and sensor technology.  HSI provides solutions to various applications such as aerospace, agriculture, energy, medical, military, security and telecommunication industries. As Quality Manager at HSI, she is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and developing improvements in productivity, quality, consistency, client relationships, and customer service.  "I come to work every day to meet and/or exceed customer requirements by continually seeking ways to improve product consistency and overall performance through education, cultural change, and improvement projects."
 
Kimmy has been a participant in multiple leadership oriented programs including Strategic Orienteering & Master Executive Visionary through Giant Partners, and Character First through Strata Leadership.  She is a graduate of Leadership Chickasha and is currently serving her second term on the Chickasha City Council representing Ward 2, as well as, filling the roll of Vice Mayor.  Kimmy is an Advisory Board Member for The Salvation Army, Group Leader for Leadership Chickasha and participates in various other areas of community services such as Festival of Light, Community Wide Thanksgiving Dinner, Booster Clubs, Chickasha's Rock Island Ride Committee, Open Streets Committee, YMCA and Chickasha Schools.
 
Kimmy, husband Neil, and son Cade are members of New Life Christian Church.  She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and running.
