Cross Timbers toured the new Food and Shelter Tiny Home Village. April Heiple, Executive Director, gave us a behind the scenes tour and information about the services this gem in the Norman community provides.
Our tour of Food and Shelter began in the community room and continued through the main building which houses the kitchen, including a walk in refrigerator and freezer, site offices, classroom, showers and laundry. We toured through the village of tiny homes and were able to get a pic in front of the house Cross Timbers 'built'. Our home is adjacent to the Sooner and Norman Rotary homes. What a great feeling to know Rotary supported this great cause.
April also took us to a couple of vacant homes and we were able to see the furnishings and decor provided by generous donors.
