Rotary Rocket - Jan 14th

We had a fantastic meeting last week at Leo's. Our guest speaker was Mary Knittle representing the Worcester Community Action Council. Mary discussed the various programs the WCAC provides in the city.

We had visiting Rotarians Carl Gomes and Keri Denis.

Kids Cafe is 1/26 at the Boys and Girls Club, please contact Amy Berry to sign up.

The Service Projects Committee meeting will be held on 1/27,

There will also be a Celebrate Community meeting on 1/21 and 1/28. Service Fund Committee meeting will be 1/28 at 11:00 at Leo's,

There will also be a board of directors meeting on 1/21 at 11:00 at Leo's.

 

The Rotary Foundation: Val has sent out letters to all members of our club regarding giving to TRF. Please give what you can - Lets make this year a "Every Rotarian Every Year" Our goal is $125.00 per member, please give what you can.

 

50/50 Raffle: George Butler had his number drawn but did not draw the 10 of Diamonds. The pool is up to $331.00.

 

Our Treasurer, Chris Gates had surgery on his ankle and will be on the DL (disabled list) for 6 - 8 weeks, please wish him a speedy recovery. Matteo has volunteered to fill in. Thank you Matteo.
