President Frank Doherty introduced the Steve Tankanow to speak about the Boys and Girls Club - Kids Café.
Steve is a respected member of the Worcester community, managing the Bancroft School of Massage, as well as donating his time, talent, and treasure to serve youth healthy, nutricious meals such as French bread pizza at the Boys and Girls Club of Worcester.
'Tank' also discussed his escapes in the boxing world with promoter Don King!
Tank also threw a kind shout our to former Rotary member Peter Wyatt who passed away earlier this year, and Pete's charitable contributions to the city of Worcester.
Worcester Rotary Club also welcome James Whalen, a guest from Corporate Benefit Plans and Emily Degray from Southbridge Savings Bank.
It was decided that the Worcester Rotary Club should have a booth to exhibit Rotary accompishments in Worcester at the Business Expo on Nov 1st. Look forward to seeing all the Rotarians there.
