Rotary Rocket - July 25th 2013-2014 Officer Induction Edition

Wow!

Over 250 Rotarians and Friends showed up to celebrate the induction of the Worcester Rotary Club 2013-2014 officers!

Worcester notables include Frank 'Force of Nature' Carroll, Mayor Joe Petty and his chief of staff Mike Lanava, WTAG's Jordan Levy, WCRN's Hank Stolz and Gary Rosen, Steve 'Tank' Tankinow of the Worcester Boys and Girls Club, and so many others.

District Governor Doug Detweiller spoke about the benefits of Rotary, some of the upcoming projects, and then proceeded to swear in the new officers.

Let by incoming President Satya Mitra and immediate past president Frank Doherty, the officers swore to put Service above Self.

President Satya Mitra then announced a bold plan and challenge to put Service above Self and restore the Worcester Rotary Club as a fixture in the Worcester community!

Including TEN new members that would join today!

Past President Frank Doherty and his wife Elaine Doherty were thanked by Satya for their service.
