Dear Rotarians and Friends,

I am filling in for President Katya as she is up, up, and away today and will be out for the week.

We had a fun dinner Thursday night at the 110 Grill!  Thank you to Cheri Amour Mahan for the flowers and treats, Elizabeth Messina for the packets of flower seeds, and we were happy to share in the celebration of Mark Messina’s (39th?) Birthday!

A reminder that there is No Meeting This Week but mark your calendars for the RYLA Awards Dinner on Thursday, February 29 and register early!  This is a night not to be missed as we present awards to ten deserving students with a special honor going to a dedicated member of our community.  In attendance will be the students' families, five of our partner sponsors from Village Bank, the High School Principals from Weston and Wayland, a prospective member who is currently a member of the Garabito-Playa Jaco Club in Costa Rica, additional guests, and, oh yes, you!

Enjoy the week and we look forward to seeing everyone on the 29th!

Yours in Rotary,

Jan

Please register for the meeting by 6 pm on Monday, February 26th

In addition to sponsoring the Fishing Derby, the Rotary Club of Weston & Wayland hosts numerous events throughout the year that raise funds to support humanitarian projects here and internationally. Projects include annual college scholarships for local high schoolers, preparing and providing meals at local soup kitchens, and a five-year project to restore a Weston field for pollinating insects.
