Service: "Letters for Seniors" in Assisted Living

Our Goal: 

  • To send letters, poems, pictures with a note, letter or story to seniors living in six local assisted living residences/nursing homes who are not able to receive visitors due to COVID-19. 

First Letter Drop - May 1

Second Letter Drop – June 1

​​​​​​Our Plan: 

  • To collect these letters, poems, etc. written by Rotarians, community members, and students in our local schools and send them by e-mail to each of the facilities Activity Directors at

    • Traditions of Wayland, Carriage House at Lee's Farm Wayland, Sunrise of Wayland, Sunrise of Weston, Maplewood at Weston, Wingate at Weston

Here's how you can participate:  

 

  • We will distribute them to the Activity Directors in May and June

  • Write a handwritten note or create a card using GoogleDoc, GoogleSlides, GoogleDraw, PowerPoint, Apple Pages, or a PDF file

  • Invite your family and friends to join you in this care initiative.

  • Send your cards and letters to Jan Luchetti at  westonwaylandrotary@gmail.com by Thursday, April 30.
