Please join us in welcoming our Guest Speaker Marilyn Savage.

Every area hospital, most every nursing home and many first responders are without any or enough protection as you have likely seen in the news. Hospital nurses are wearing snorkeling gear to work. We  have made emergency runs to nursing homes with COVID residents and staff with literally nothing.

Over one month ago, Stan Helinski started purchasing 3D printers and supplies from all over the world in order to use his knowledge of technology to create what he had been hearing was a shortage of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) .  Through this month, Weston and Wellesley School Systems and Waltham library have graciously lent many of their 3D printers to us. We are presently running 30 machines, simultaneously, and around the clock printing respirators (with the highest grade copper fiber medical filament) and visors for what eventually becomes fully-assembled face shields (with .007mm PET protection).   Both products are then fully assembled and ready to go.  We are burning through supplies quicker than we can have them delivered.  Our hope is to be able to increase production to over 100 respirators a day as we add additional printers.  Our team of volunteers have collectively spent over twelve thousand dollars thus far--with no end in sight.

We are so very much thankful for any support that you can give-- even if that support is a nice note or a personal story you wish to share.   With everyone's help, we will be able to save many from this horrible virus.  God bless and stay safe.
