The latest scams affecting our community

Michael Morrissey was elected Norfolk District Attorney in November 2010. He supervises a staff of more than 100, including more than 60 attorneys. His office prosecutes more than 15,000 criminal complaints from 27 communities each year in five district courts and the Norfolk Superior Court.

District Attorney Morrissey served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1977 until 1992, when he was elected to represent Quincy and other south shore communities in the state Senate. In the Senate, he chaired six major committees, including Public Service, Public Safety, Government Regulation, and Consumer Protection. In addition to his law degree, DA Morrissey holds a Master of Public Administration.
