For those who may not know what Operation Delta Dog is, it’s an organization based out of Chelmsford, Massachusetts that rescues dogs of a certain age, temperament and personality type. They are then trained to be a service dog and matched up with a disabled veteran. Training continues until the dog and veteran learn to work together to meet the service needs of the veteran. Refresher training is optional at any time.
