“It is the generous acts such as this that will motivate others to volunteer their time and talent to help our country’s most vulnerable population,” said Bedford VA Acting Director Christine Croteau.

The Bedford VA Crescent House Transitional Residence Program, located in Lowell, MA, is a unique rehabilitation program which is designed to intervene in the cycle of homelessness and institutionalization by providing an environment in which Veterans can acquire skills and supports needed to function productively and independently in competitive employment and community based housing.

“Veterans having the opportunity to attend this community activity is very exciting.  We have been busy at the  Crescent House making plans to attend and are most grateful for the opportunity,” said Corona Benson, Program Manager, Bedford VA Crescent House.
