Mimicing the Rotary motto, Kirby said that LCTV’s motto is “Making a Difference Through Service.”  LCTC has worked with our Club for years, filming Rotary-sponsored Candidates’ Nights, town meetings, our annual Triathlon, and Rotary’s holiday events.
COVID brought a huge number of changes and challenges for the LCTV team to handle.  They traditionally telecast dates, times, agendas and locations of all Town board meetings and elections, as well as other programming of interest.  With COVID’s  restrictions, LCTD had to handle many meetings of all types in an all-digital, remote, and in some cases interactive format. In 2020, when the Littleton Holiday Bazaar was canceled due to COVID, Kirby and his staff worked with our members to produce a Virtual Holiday Bazaar.
Obviously public health has been a major issue for the past 2+ years.  LCTV has live coverage of emerging public health concerns about the pandemic.  Current information from the CDC, State Board of Health, and Governor’s office is updated daily.  Governor Baker’s daily broadcasts on COVID are rebroadcast during the day.

Kirby ended with a short PSA: LCTV is looking for local access contributors with content ideas, as well as people who are interested in learning about using the equipment in the studio.
