Wrentham Village Premium Outlets will be hosting their second annual Chalkfest for Charity on Sunday, October 22nd (rain date of Sunday October 29.) This event is being held in partnership with the Frankly Rotary Club, who will use the proceeds raised at this event to help the Franklin Rotary and associated charities and projects throughout the year, such as:
What is the Chalkfest for Charity? It is the coming together of art, charity and community! Local artists will be creating masterpieces on the sidewalks of Wrentham Village Premium Outlets, which will be sponsored by local businesses, organizations or individuals. All of the proceeds raised at this event will be donated to the Franklin Rotary Club. Artists will start their artwork at 11:00 am on the day of the event, and the official judging will begin at 2:00 pm – but watching the artists at work is half of the fun! The artwork will then be on display at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets as long as mother nature allows.
How is money raised? Local businesses and generous individuals buy "squares." Each square is assigned to an artist. The sponsor's names appear at the top of each artist’s drawing.
To participate as either a sponsor or as an artist, please complete the Artist Info and Sign Up form, or the Sponsorship Info and Sign Up form, and email Franklin Rotary Club President Scott Martin, scottm@hockymca.org.
