Bill Murphy, Director, Framingham Public Health Department, and Roberta Ho, affiliated with the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) gave a very interesting talk on our local MRC.
The MRC is a national network of dedicated volunteers to improve the health and safety of their communities. The MRC recruits, trains, and activates volunteers to respond to community health and safety needs during emergencies. As an example, they were instrumental in providing vaccinations during the COVID 19 pandemic.
