The Rotary Club gives grants to many not-for-profit organizations in the Metrowest community  such as the Knox Council Boy Scouts, Pearl Street Café, WMCA, Visiting Nurse Association, Boy and Girls Club, Eagles Club Thanksgiving Dinner, Metrowest Mediation Association, Amazing Things Arts center, New England After Care, Concerts on the Green, etc.  To date over $300,000 has been awarded.

The Rotary Club of Framingham has maintained an Education Foundation since 1954 and has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships during the past dozen years.  Each year 10 seniors from Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton and Ashland highschools have been granted scholarships worth $4000 - 4500.

Rotary Club sponsors several programs for the youth of our community including; 
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).
  • Reality Fair: teaching high school students practical financial realities.

Rotary Club members, who work on service projects aimed at bettering our community, actively participate in;

  • The various Club fund raising activities
  • Serving Thanksgiving Dinner at the Eagles Club
  • Assisting the Fuller Interact club in the spring clean up of Simpson Park
  • Starting the Framingham High School Interact Club
  • Providing an annual Christmas Party for children without resources
  • Collecting food for the Pearl Street Café and A Place to Turn
  • Rebuilding and modernizing the playground area at Butterworth Park
  • Representing the Framingham Rotary Club in various venues including;
    • Taste of Framingham
    • Concerts on the Green
    • Metrowest Chamber of Commerce
