Bed Building at Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Sleep in Heavenly Peace Middlesex, MA Chapter would like to invite you to help us build beds for children in need on Saturday June 12th from 12:00pm-3:00pm at Littleton Lumber in Littleton, MA. Registration starts at 11:45am. There will be door prizes, DJ playing music and donated food & drinks available. This will be the third annual "Bunks Across America" where chapters of Sleep In Heavenly Peace all around the country come together on June 12th to build the most amount of beds possible (and hopefully break a world record) to donate to children in need. The last two years we have been able to build between 50-100 beds with roughly 100 volunteers in a matter of hours. These are then donated throughout the weeks as requests come in. 

 

Our "build days" are set up so that anyone over the age of 13 can help regardless of construction experience. There is no cost to attend however this year the cost of lumber has skyrocketed so we are always open to receiving donations to allow us to continue to build beds. 

 

Please dress accordingly (clothes you dont mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes as we will be around lumber and power tools) and please encourage others to join us. It makes for a fun and rewarding day for everyone involved!
