Backpack Awareness at Brookline Day 9/24!
Our awesome Rotaractors helping to spread backpack awareness at Brookline Day
It was a Hot Day at Brookline Day on September 24th! It wasn't just the temperature, which must have approached 90, but the energy of our wonderful BU Rotaract Club. Led by President Sarah Tuberty and event chair, Jenna Stitik, about a dozen Rotaractors took advantage of the audience to raise Back Pack awareness. The students showed off their knowledge and shared it with the many families present, instructing them on the proper way to pack and wear a back pack to avoid injury. Brookline Rotary could not have had better, more professional ambassadors. The club also collected for Shelter Box, given the recent and multiple disasters.
