Brookline Martin Luther King Day Celebration

Several members of Brookline Rotary assisted in the volunteer efforts and ceremonies for the town's celebration of Martin Luther King Day.  Brookline PAX coordinated two collection drives for the day.  One for the Brookline Emergency Food Pantry and one for More Than Words Book Store and Cafe, a local non-profit that helps empower youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.  Rotarians helped with the drives and ushering at the program, Confronting Bias in Brookline, in the afternoon at the Coolidge Corner Theater.
