The Waltham Rotary Club of Waltham is selling a 2010 Holiday Lottery Calendar through Jan. 31. For $10 there will be 31 chances in January to win a share of more than $3,500. All proceeds benefit the local charities supported by the Waltham Rotary.

WALTHAM -- Tim Braceland said there are no rules when he cooks.
He's not afraid to mix ingredients, no matter how strange the pairing might seem on the surface. That's how a concoction like Braceland's "Cranasp Bread" - a loaf made with cranberries and asparagus - was born. "It actually tastes pretty good," Braceland said. The recipe is just one of a plethora the Waltham resident came up with that he's featured in his new "Wall Street Cookbook," which Braceland created with the help of his wife, Connie. |

Marcou said that Melanie was helping the man who came in and asked to see "the biggest diamond" they had. He then asked to see another "to compare the two." Before Melanie had a chance to hand him the second diamond he grabbed it from her and ran out of the store.

Firefighters Fund cooks meals on 9/11 for local fire stations | Posted by Mark Wasnock |
"I had all the firehouses in Waltham covered in an hour," he said. Between the local restaurants and the home-cooked meals, all six Waltham stations and all six Newton stations received meals. Volunteers from the Waltham Rotary Club delivered some of the meals Friday night to fire stations.
