  • Christmas Dinner- A form was passed around for members to sign-up for the December 13thChristmas Dinner. All members who have not had the opportunity to sign-up personally are to contact Emanuel by e-mail to confirm your attendance and any guests so a final count can be established with the Country Club.
  • Dictionaries–Members who wish to help deliver dictionaries next Tuesday to St. Louise de Marillac 3rdgraders please contact Ray Kells or Barbara Piconi.
  • 2019 Pancake Festival – Tickets are to be printed in the coming week and will be available to the members. Herm is looking for good ideas to improve ticket sales.

  • Pittsburgh Thanksgiving Dinners – Over 4000 Thanksgiving Dinners were prepared by the Club this year and delivered by the Pittsburgh Police to needy residents. The Club Members gave Heather a healthy round of applause for leading the effort.
  • White Oak Penquin Ticket Raffle – Dec. 23rd – All members who have committed to purchase tickets are asked to get their $20 per ticket into Heather.

  • Enjoy Books – 10 books are still available for members to purchase or sell. They make excellent Christmas presents.

  • Clothing Drive – West Virginia – Herm again thanked all the members who assisted in loading the truck for delivery of the collected donated clothes for the needy in West Virginia

  • Salvation Army – Ringing Bells – The Club is set to ring bells at the South Hills Giant Eagle on Saturday, Dec. 1stfrom 8 AM to 4 PM. More members are needed for 1, 2 & 3 PM. Just come and help out. Wear hats or clothes with the Rotary logo.

  • Membership – Jim asked the Club members to take the opportunity this holiday season when they see many family members, neighbors, friends, and colleagues to tell them about all the things our Club is doing and ASK them to consider Rotary and invite them to a future Rotary dinner at St. Clair Country Club.

  • Cookies for Meals on Wheels – Karen asked members to donate 2 dozen home-made cookies for Meals on Wheels this holiday season.
  • Stockings for Soldiers & Veterans– Karen thanked Club Members for turning in their stockings filled with needed items for soldiers and veterans. For those who have not yet turned in their stockings, they can turn them in directly to Beinhauer’s tomorrow.
