The so-called Coffee Club within Rotary E-Club of London Centenary has made donations to “small projects” totalling £600 in the first quarter of Rotary Year 2014/15.

£400 to the Los Niños project in Guatemala
£100 to the Guildford Rotary Eye Project
£100 to the Peace Brigades International UK

Each donation has been acknowledged in writing by the recipient.
The Coffee Club is a tool that members of the London E-club may use to save up money for small projects, both within and outside Rotary International.

Since the E-club's weekly meetings take place in Cyberspace facilitated by the use of the Skype Internet service, members usually are sitting by their computer at home "drinking coffee."

The idea is that at each club meeting, members put into a jar an amount equivalent to what a cup of coffee costs at a local restaurant.

The Coffee Club idea was adopted by the the London E-Club’s Council of 2011-12.

By the end of the first quarter of Rotary year 2012-13 Rotary E-Club of London Centenary had 20 members, including two honorary members.
