Thanks to all who donated blood last Monday, and to those who helped with Park Clean Up on Saturday. There are so many opportunities for us to serve the Tyler community in a "hands on" way - I appreciate all of you who consistently represent our club with a servant heart.
Our biggest service opportunity is in a few weeks! The spaghetti supper is our BIG fundraiser, and allows us to serve the community with monetary grants to support the mission of non-profits in Tyler. Chris and Diane have spoken about this and also sent emails with the invoice and event details. To date, we have less than 50% of our club members submitting contributions. I am imploring you to read the article below, follow the link to make your payment, and also share our mission with your friends and family. It is crucial that we all support this event, both in person and financially. Let's make this a successful event and live with Service Above Self.
We are excited to invite you to support the 30th annual Reed Franklin Spaghetti Supper, organized by the South Tyler Rotary Club.
For the past 29 years, with the exception of 2020, the annual spaghetti supper has been the primary fundraiser for South Tyler Rotary Foundation. The proceeds from this event are given back to our community as we support non-profits through grants for specific projects.
During the past year as we have experienced a global pandemic as well as severe weather-related emergencies, and we have seen the people of our community support fundraising efforts with amazing generosity. As an international service organization, Rotary is comprised of community leaders with a motto of “Service above Self,” who give generously of their time, talents, resources and finances.

Reed Franklin was a former club president, a founder of the spaghetti supper and a great champion of civic causes in the community. Franklin died in April 2015.
