South Tyler Rotary Club Makes a Big Impact in Local Parks

Last Saturday, the South Tyler Rotary Club took part in the Rotary District Trash Bash Day of Service, leaving a lasting impression on Windsor Grove Nature Park and Herndon Hills Park.

With 8 Rotarians, a spouse of a Rotarian, and the child of a Rotarian, the team dedicated less than an hour and a half to cleaning up these beloved outdoor spaces.

Though we missed some familiar faces, the dedication of those who joined was undeniable. Despite soccer games, other commitments, and busy weeks, these ten individuals exemplified the Rotary motto of 'Service Above Self.'

Even amidst personal and professional challenges, they chose to give back and spend time with their Rotary family. Their commitment to community service truly embodies the spirit of Rotary.

Your Presidential Line giving back in the community.

This saturday along with the Tyler Fire department will install smoke detectors for North Tyler Citizens, Meals on Wheels clients and PATH Homes

Meet at Meals on Wheels on Robertson Road next to the East Texas Food Bank at 9:00am for photos and further instructions.

We won't necessary need everyone to install because the Tyler Fire Department will be doing many of the installations but we do need as many Rotarians as possible for the photo at Meals on Wheels!

Bring screwdrivers, a small ladder if you have one and wear your Rotary shirt.
