NOMINATIONS OPEN
Per our by-laws, nominations for President Nominee (2022-2023 Presidential year), as well as 2021-2022 Secretary and Treasurer are open during the November meetings. The nominating committee of Chair Jeff Johnson and members Amanda Folmar and Tom Seale presented the following slate of candidates for the open positions:

Secretary - Marla Boren
Treasurer - Tom Seale
Additional nominations are accepted from the floor at the November meetings. Elections are scheduled for the first Monday in December.
BIKE BUILD
Due to decreased giving in 2019-2020 and increased costs, our Bike Build will be a lot smaller this year. We'll meet on Saturday, December 12 at Pollard United Methodist Church to build the bikes. We're only allowed to have 10 volunteers this year due to spacing requirements and less bikes. Please sign up at one of our meetings while space is still available.
The Bike Build is one of our favorite projects every year, so we were disappointed to hear how few bikes they were able to purchase. Want to make the 2021 Bike Build ever bigger and better? Donate $65.00 now towards next year's event. Make your check payable to Pollard United Methodist Church. You can turn checks in between now and the end of the year.
CHRISTMAS PARADE
We’re changing things up this year with the Christmas Parade. Our event is scheduled on Saturday (yes, SATURDAY) December 5, 8 AM-noon. Instead of a traditional parade where people line the streets to watch the floats go by we are hosting a Drive Thru Parade. The floats will be stationary and attendees will drive through the parade route. We need you, your families and friends to volunteer with us at the Parade; please sign up by emailing Jen Katz.
Please plan to attend a volunteer zoom training on either 11/30, 12/1 or 12/2 from 1-2. More information TBA.

Rotary International highlights the month to emphasize the importance and need for Rotarian support of the Rotary Foundation. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for The Rotary Foundation and another $2500 for Polio Plus. With 100 members, that is $125 per member. I challenge each of you to consider supporting the Rotary Foundation. See Tom DeWitt for more information.

She lives here in Tyler with her husband and daughter who goes to Tyler Legacy High School.
Brandi Burkett Love MS, APRN, FNP-C is currently in clinical practice at Hospitality Health ER as an Emergency Room Nurse practitioner. She has 20 years in clinical practice, with a nursing background in ICU and flight medicine. As an advanced practice nurse, the last 8 years she has worked as an Hospitalist, internal medicine and primary care, prior to beginning ER practice the last 2 years..
She graduated Suma cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech and obtained a Masters in Science from Texas Woman’s University. She has served on the board for East Texas Nurse Practitioner Association.
