I am currently serving my 8th year as Mayor of Bullard and served 8 years on Bullard City Council before being elected Mayor.
I retired from teaching in December 2018 after 29 years.
My husband, Wade and I have 2 adult children. Our son Mason is a hospital paramedic in the Houston area and our daughter Taylor lives with her husband on Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico.
I enjoy volunteer opportunities that allow me to be a positive part of growth and progress. I strongly believe if you complain about the way things may be, then you are part of the problem. I strive to always be a part of the solution.
Something that I have never done before but have talked about for years - I would like to rent a convertible in the California wine country and drive it along the coast, stopping to see all of the things that interest me along the way. I think this is the year...
I am proud to be a part of the South Tyler Rotary.
This is not your average race! Sign up for our 1st annual 0.5K raising money for Polio Plus. The RACE is SHORT, just circling the block and returning to the starting point. Not too fast…You will race with a full pint of beer. If you spill too much, you will be disqualified. Finish with your beer above the “spill line” and the fastest time for a cool prize.
There is a prize for BEST COSTUME, too! For those who simply finish, we’ll have lots of fun, entertainment, games, raffles and more for you to enjoy a great afternoon.
Sponsored by ETX Brewing Co., The Porch at ETX, South Tyler Rotary, Roberts & Roberts Law Firm, Republic Services and Jim's Jewelers
