A MESSAGE FROM OUR CLUB PRESIDENT

Rotarians,

I am thrilled to begin my term as the new president of our Rotary Club. I hope to bring a fresh perspective and boundless enthusiasm to the role.  This year's Rotary theme is "The Magic of Rotary".  I can not imagine a more effective slogan for what I believe promises to be an excellent year for the South Tyler Rotary.  I firmly believe that when we marshall our resources and work together, we can accomplish more than we could ever hope to achieve for our fellow man as individuals.  That is the magic of Rotary!

This year, we will be embarking on some significant initiatives. On November 11, 2024, we will launch our first annual South Tyler Rotary Club Field of Valor, a patriotic display of American flags across from the Brookshire Conference Center.  This is not just a fundraiser but a heartfelt tribute to our Veterans, Active Military Members, First Responders, and Nurses who selflessly serve our nation. We are also excited to be a key participant in the Annual Tyler Christmas Parade on December 5, 2024, joining other Tyler area Rotary clubs to organize and provide the manpower. And, as always, we will hold our Annual Reed Franklin Spaghetti Supper in the Spring of 2025.  These initiatives are a testament to the magic of Rotary, and your participation is crucial to their success! 

My vision for our club is bold and ambitious. I am determined to expand our community impact through strategic partnerships, innovative projects, and active member engagement. These partnerships are not just a means to an end but a testament to the value we place on each member's contribution. I am confident that together we can make a significant difference.  That is the magic of Rotary, and you are an integral part of it!

As we embark on this new chapter in the proud history of the South Tyler Rotary Club, I look forward to making a meaningful difference and upholding Rotary's proud traditions as we work towards a brighter future for all.
