STR Meetings Resume June 15!

First Christian Church (FCC) and local health authorities have  agreed to the South Tyler Rotary Club meetings at the FCC gym beginning Monday, June 15, 2020. Extra steps are being taken to ensure all participants are provided a safe experience. Social distancing will be encouraged and box lunches with bottled water are being offered for lunch guests. Please attend and follow all required safety constraints (face masks are encouraged but not mandatory).
SEMI-ANNUAL DUES

We are all looking forward to getting back to more normal routines, which include our regularly scheduled South Tyler Rotary Club meetings on Mondays, starting this Monday, June 15th. I look forward to seeing you all again. 
Unfortunately, our semi-annual dues are due again! I emailed each of you your Invoice for South Tyler Rotary Club Semi-Annual dues covering the period from July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. A very few people still owe for the last six months, so if you fall in to that category, please make every effort to get caught up by June 30th. Approximately $96 of our $150 invoices is used by the Club to pay Rotary International Dues and District 5830 Dues. We want you to stay involved with the South Tyler Rotary Club, however, if you are unable to continue attending or cannot attend and support the Club, please let me know by June 28th.
Please make every effort to get this invoice paid and any past due amount paid so that the Club can operate more efficiently. If you have any questions about your dues or membership in the Club, please feel free to contact me by phone (903-530-7504) or email (tmseale78@gmail.com).
You can pay your dues by mailing a check to the South Tyler Rotary Club, P.O. Box 7153, Tyler, Texas 75711. You can also pay with cash or credit/debit cards at our Monday meetings. Your prompt attention to the payment of this invoice will be appreciated.
District Officer Installation Brunch June 27
Pinecrest Country Club | Longview
 Registration is now open for the District Officer Installation Brunch set June 27th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Pinecrest Country Club, 214 Club Drive, Longview, TX 75602. It’s only $25 for a full Mexican Fajita Brunch buffet and Tres Leche Cake, coffee, and tea. Register HERE.
Drop by a bit early (we’ll actually be there after 10:30 am) if yo  u want to enjoy a margarita and some fellowship beforehand. Pinecrest assures us we can social distance and are setting tables accordingly.
Bring a mask or we’ll provide one, but come, let your hair down and celebrate the kickoff of a great year for our action district.
All of us together are going to make this an auspicious and stellar year!

We're continuing to accept donations towards this year's No Dinner Spaghetti  Dinner. Mail checks, payable to the South Tyler Rotary Foundation, to PO Box 7153, Tyler TX 75711, or you can make a credit card payment at one of our upcoming June meetings!
As one year comes to a close, it is time to think about the new Rotary year that begins July 1st. If you have not already responded, please complete the SURVEY.
PAUL HARRIS MATCH STATUS

There are a few days left in the Paul Harris Match Program and I would love to see us hit $5,000, including a number of new Paul Harris Fellowships. Remember, you can give to  Polio+ (and have your gift matched 2 for 1 by the Gates Foundation) or the Annual Fund (this is where our District Matching funds come from.)
You can go online to make your donations or send a check made payable to The Rotary Foundation to my address, 1467 Old Creek Dr., Tyler, TX 75703. And remember, the match is based on donations of $100 or more. Some of you who make direct payments will actually have two deposits that count, so even if your monthly gift is under $100, the combination may hit the mark and you will get credit and match.
