I have 3 wonderful children, Avery 7, Aiden 4, and Abraham 3, but not to forget my animal children 3 chickens and my dog Luna. So as you can imagine my heart and my hands are full 24/7. I have worked at ETMC EMS/UT Health East Texas EMS for almost 6 years now. I love my job and the people I work with. Unless you have worked as a First Responder it is hard to imagine what it is like to serve your community in that way.
I go to church at Rise Again Baptist Church where my grandfather is the preacher and my dad is the youth minister. It has been this way since I was a child so it's as if serving my community is in my blood. On the weekends I enjoy being outside with my kiddos or working in my garden.
Something I would like to do in this year that I have never done would be to not lose a tube of chapstick within the first week of opening it. JK! lol I would really like to travel more. I have realized the last few months that making memories and experiences with the people you love is so much more important than having materialistic items, and I would really like to focus more on that.
After a full career with the Ft. Worth Fire Department, Chief David Coble began his service with the Tyler Fire Department on November 7, 2016.
Mr. Coble served as the executive assistant fire chief for Fort Worth for the past seven years and was the acting fire chief for most of 2015. He managed two of the department’s three divisions, including the Educational and Support Services division which includes the functions of training, EMS, supply, fire equipment services, fleet management, communications and emergency management.
As the Fire Chief for Tyler, Chief Coble is responsible for leading the Fire Department as they adapt and stay focused on emerging hazards to public safety, and create a progressive department that can meet the needs of the citizens now and in the future.
