HAPPY NEW YEAR! It is hard to believe that we are half way through our Rotary year and all that we have accomplished this far! We are truly a vibrant club with the best Rotarians around. I am looking forward to the next 6 months and the great things we will accomplish! I am so thankful for each and everyone of you. Let's keep "Making a Difference" and " Being the Inspiration"!

Announcements & Reminders

Dues Notices - Invoices for dues went out in December from Club Treasurer Tom Seale. If you have not already done so, please remit payment right away.
 
Bergfeld Park Clean Up, January 14th - Join us at 4:30 for our quarterly Bergfeld Park clean up. Supplies provided. Meet at the tennis courts on College Street.
 
Business to Business Expo, January 17th - Volunteers needed to promote Rotary from 1-6 at Harvey Hall. Contact Tom DeWitt or Lee Montgomery if you'd like to help.
 
Blood Drive, January 21st - Sign up at the meeting to donate blood on Monday, January 21st at the Chick-fil-A on South Broadway. (Reminder, we do not meet on Monday, January 21st due to the Martin Luther King Day holiday.)

Born in Big Sandy, May 20, 1956. Graduate of New Diana High School where he lettered in four sports. Turned down an appointment to West Point to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Married 30 years to the former Leslie Leigh Tillery, native of Mobile, Alabama

Leslie is employed as a registered nurse at Chapel Hill Middle School.

Family includes son, Landan, and daughter, Lauren, who attend the University of Texas at Tyler and Tyler Junior College, respectively.

Attend Green Acres Baptist Church where they have been members since 1989.

Larry serves on the church’s Security Committee and Leslie is a preschool volunteer.

 

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, shooting trap and playing golf
