🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans: Service Above Self in Its Purest Form

This week, as we observe Veterans Day, let’s take a moment as Rotarians to reflect on the true meaning of Service Above Self—a principle our veterans have lived out in the most profound way.

Across our South Tyler Rotary Club, and throughout Rotary worldwide, many of our members have proudly served in the armed forces. Their dedication, sacrifice, and leadership continue to inspire how we serve our community today.

To our fellow Rotarians who are veterans — we thank you. Your service to our nation and your ongoing commitment to Rotary embody the very best of both worlds: defending freedom and building peace through service.

As we go about our week, let’s honor our veterans not just with words, but through our actions — by continuing to serve others, support our community, and uphold the values that unite us as Rotarians and Americans.
