Thanks for the responses to the email earlier this week.
You will be contacted to fill up the shifts to make this a fun and safe event for the City of Tyler. This is our second biggest service event in our Rotary year. We need all hands on deck!
A special need this year - the men who usually set up the cones before the parade, and take them down again after the parade, are unable to serve this year. We need a couple of Rotarians, with a pick up truck, to commit to this role and meet with these guys to learn the routine.

These two fabulous South Tyler Rotarians decorated cakes for the Bethesda Birthday Bash held this past Saturday. The cakes were auctioned and raised a combined $35,000 for Bethesda. Thank you, Jeff and Amanda for your hearts of service.

Grant Awards!
Today we will be awarding grant dollars to PATH with Executive Director Andrea Wilson accepting the BIG CHECK! The $1500 grant will support Coats For Kids, which provides 1000 new coats to children in Smith County. Coat sorting starts soon and coat distribution is the week before Thanksgiving. We are invited to help with sorting and distribution.

Past South Tyler Rotary President Glenn Taylor passed away on October 25, 2021. His life celebration will be November 27th, 11 a.m., at Christ Episcopal Church in Tyler. In his memory, contributions can be made to SPCA or Hospice of East Texas.
