We are The Action District! In addition to providing East Texas Food Bank with a check for $17,000, we have the opportunity to serve on Wednesday August 12 from 1:15-4:15 PM. We can engage in fellowship and fun, all while helping our neighbors in need! ETFB is located at 3201 Robertson Rd, Tyler, TX 75701. Due to COVID-19 we will need to be respectful of any requirements set forth by ETFB; wearing a mask at all times is one of these requirements.

2020 GRANT APPLICATIONS

South Tyler Rotary is now accepting grant applications from the proceeds of our 2020 Reed Franklin “No Dinner” Spaghetti Dinner. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and members, South Tyler Rotary is still able to award grants to local non-profits, despite not holding our annual fundraising event.
A South Tyler Rotary member must sponsor the grant application. Please share the application and application instructions to nonprofits with which you work, serve on the board or support.
Rotary International focuses our efforts on the following areas and grant applications are sought in all areas:
John Denton is the Associate Athletics Director for Alumni Relations/Executive Director of Lettermen’s Association at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. Prior to this position, he was the Director of Major Gifts for TCU Athletics for over 8 years.
He also was the Color Analyst/Play-by-Play Broadcaster at TCU Sports Network/IMG for 30 years.
John graduated from TCU in 1985 with a Bachelors in Science.
