LET'S SHARE
THE MAGIC OF ROTARY!!

ROTARY 5830 FOUNDATION DINNER

๐ŸŽ‰ What a Night! ๐ŸŽ‰

The Foundation Dinner on Saturday was a huge success! A big congratulations to Brandie Henderson and the entire South Tyler Rotary Club for achieving 100% Foundation Giving, Every Rotarian Every Year, and receiving the prestigious Rotary Citation Award! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

We also celebrate our incredible South Tyler Rotarians who have advanced their Paul Harris Giving and Bequest Society Levels during the 2024-2025 Rotary Year:

๐ŸŒŸ Kimberly Carney, Adrian Cornejo, Eric LaFlure, Jon Sanders, Scott Williams, John Bailey, Brandie Henderson, Michael Hurley, Randy Marshall, Clint Henderson, Jared Kent, Diane Kavanaugh, and Jeff Johnston.

Your generosity and commitment to Rotaryโ€™s mission make a lasting impact! Thank you for all you do!

โœจ An Unforgettable Evening of Recognition & Inspiration!

The 2025 District 5830 Foundation Dinner was filled with laughter, fellowship, and inspiration as we celebrated the incredible generosity and service of our Rotarians. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

We were honored to hear from Rotary International Director for Zones 30 and 31, Beth Stubbs who highlighted the powerful projects our District has funded and participated inโ€”including the Smoke Detector Project completed in Summer 2024. She reminded us that giving to Rotary is truly giving back to ourselves, as every dollar donated is transformed into impactful service in our communities and around the world. ๐ŸŒโœจ

This year, District 5830 shattered records in both giving and service, and making this one of the largest Foundation Dinners in attendance! ๐ŸŽ‰

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at Hollytree Country Club on February 1, 2025โ€”your dedication continues to make a difference!

This Monday....

Join us Monday at noon at First Christian Church for an exciting South Tyler Rotary meeting!

Join South Tyler Rotary Monday at Noon as we welcome Ted Crabtree, with East Texas Generators! Ted will be sharing expert insights on Whole Home Generatorsโ€”how they work, why they matter, and what you need to know before the next big storm hits!

Letโ€™s make it a fun and informative gatheringโ€”see you there!

Who Will You Invite to Rotary This Week?

Rotary is built on the power of connection, service, and leadership. But have you ever stopped to think about the people in your daily life who would make great Rotarians?

Think about all the places you go and the people you interact with. Who do you know that has a servantโ€™s heart? Maybe it's:

  • A dedicated coworker who always steps up to help others
  • The kind-hearted woman at the dry cleaners who greets you with a smile
  • Your financial advisor, realtor, or insurance agent who thrives on making a difference
  • A barber or attorney who values relationships and community
  • A neighbor who never hesitates to lend a helping hand

That person who just came to mind? Invite them to a Rotary meeting!

But hereโ€™s the keyโ€”it often takes more than just one invitation. People get busy, they may be unsure, or they simply donโ€™t know what Rotary is all about. Thatโ€™s where you come in!

Take a moment to personally ask them. Share why you think they would be a fantastic Rotarian. Tell them about the impact our club has on the community and how much fun we have while making a difference.

Letโ€™s make it a goal to invite guests to every meeting. If each of us brings just one guest, imagine the possibilities for growth and service!

So, who will you bring to the meeting this week? Tell them you are in a contest and they would really be helping you out!!  People love helping people!!

Friendly Competition Continues!!!๐Ÿ…

๐Ÿ“ฃ South Tyler Rotary Club Members: The Olympics Are Here!

Itโ€™s time to rally together, get involved, and compete in the South Tyler Rotary Club Olympics! This exciting challenge runs from January 1, 2025, through June 30, 2025, and every activity counts toward building a stronger, more vibrant club.

๐ŸŒŸ REMEMBER: Anything youโ€™ve done since January 1st will count toward your teamโ€™s points! So be sure to report your contributions to your team captain.

๐Ÿ† Be sure to report your points each week to your team captain!!

๐Ÿ“‹ Your Team Captains:

  • Michael
  • Tiffany
  • Alex
  • Kimberly

These leaders will guide their teams through the competition and keep track of points. Let your captain know about your attendance, guest invites, volunteer hours, and other contributions to ensure your efforts are recognized!

๐Ÿ—“ Key Guidelines:

  • Earn points by attending meetings, bringing guests, participating in service projects, securing Spaghetti Supper sponsorships, attending district events, completing Rotary training, and more.
  • Monthly updates will keep the competition lively, and the winning team will earn bragging rights and a special prize!

๐ŸŽฏ Purpose:
The South Tyler Rotary Club Olympics is designed to:

  • Foster fellowship among members.
  • Encourage participation in club and community activities.
  • Attract and retain quality members.
  • Strengthen our ability to serve the community.

Letโ€™s make this a season to rememberโ€”engage, connect, and contribute to the success of our club. Together, weโ€™ll grow stronger and have a lot of fun along the way.
