Larry Agee is a distinguished leader in disaster relief and emergency management, with a remarkable 28-year tenure as the owner of Agee Financial Group, a prominent financial planning firm. As the Executive Director and Co-founder of Disaster Aid USA and a past Chairman of Disaster Aid International, Larry has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to humanitarian efforts globally.

Larry has played a pivotal role in over a dozen international deployments and 33 domestic deployments, providing critical aid and relief to regions affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises. His notable international missions include flood relief in Pakistan, aiding genocide survivors in South Sudan, and delivering shelter and clean water under the protection of UN Peacekeepers in the disputed Abyei Region. Larry’s dedication has also taken him to Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Haiti, the Philippines, India, Honduras, and most recently, Ukraine and Turkey.

Domestically, Larry has been instrumental in responding to major disasters, including Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike, Harvey, Florence, Michael, and Ida. His efforts have also supported recovery from numerous tornadoes, floods, and the recent Maui fires.
 

An esteemed member of Rotary International, Larry has received the Service Above Self Award and has held various leadership roles, including Club President and Assistant Governor for District #6200. He currently serves as the District Disaster Committee Chair, a position he has held since 2015. Larry is a Paul Harris Fellow, underscoring his significant contributions to Rotary and his community.
 

Larry is also a certified public speaker, trained by John Maxwell and Les Brown, and a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Production and Operation Management from Louisiana Tech University, with ongoing studies towards a Master's in Disaster and Emergency Services.

A US Army veteran and Desert Storm War Veteran, Larry’s military service is distinguished by honor graduate accolades and commendation medals. His extensive experience, leadership, and dedication make him a highly respected figure in disaster relief and a valuable speaker for the Rotary Club.
