President’s message – I hope everyone had a safe and very Happy July 4th. We are so blessed as citizens of this great nation and should be grateful for our freedom and the men and women who make it possible.

TXM is a family friendly location, you are welcome to bring your spouse and kids. Better yet – bring a neighbor or friend for a casual and informal introduction to South Tyler Rotary. If you have a favorite spot to meet for TTT, please let Jeff Cummings know.
Alternating months we will have Tasty Tuesdays, with the first on the calendar for August 17, Location TBD, but please add it to your calendar now!
Programs – a number of our members have asked for a variety of speakers. Well, this is where YOU can help with that request! If you hear a great speaker at another event, or hear your neighbor or co-worker mention a dynamic program they have seen, please get a name / contact number and give this to Colleen Colby. We are open to variety and appreciate your input!
Club Visioning – date to be determined, but aiming for a Saturday morning in late August / early September. Our last club vision workshop was 4 years ago, and we have a number of new faces in South Tyler Rotary now. The Visioning Workshop will involve 25 – 30 of our club members willing to invest 3 to 4 hours on a Saturday morning, participating in some exercises leaders from District 5830 to help define our goals for the next three years. If you are willing to participate, please let Rich Davis know. Once the date is set, an email will be sent to all STR members
