Club Vision Workshop was FABULOUS!
-
Rich Davis will report to the club at Monday’s meeting on our group efforts and the goals we have set for South Tyler Rotary for the next three years. We had a lot of excitement and energy! Please attend on Monday to hear this report on our vision and club direction! (if you want to pull our funny photo from Facebook to insert here, that would be cool )
President Nominee (2023 – 2024) and President Nominee Delegate (2024 – 2025) candidates will be presented to the club for a vote on 8/30. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor. Club members in attendance will vote on the nominees to set our next line of leaders in place
Make sure to follow us on Facebook for more updates. Please share our posts so more people can learn about STR!
Service Hours – a component of our Presidential Citation requirements is to complete and report service hours. A survey will be out to members soon to report hours. Our goal is to have 100% of our membership providing hours of service, either at a STR project, or an outside group.

Please continue to pray for the 35 Rotarians in Afghanistan, and our efforts to continue to immunize against polio. Recent political events could have a definite negative impact on the progress that has been made to eradicate this disease.
We also remember our fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice. May they forever rest in peace.
